Hello I'm Tony,

Heritage Stone Art has been a lifetime in the making. I have drawn together decades of rock collecting, painting, printmaking, backyard birding along with 20 years of engineering (design and the analysis of design). All of my pursuits have been steeped in rich history and heritage, extensive travel, expedition and research.

I began making stone mosaic indoor/outdoor hanging art tiles 10 years ago and I began making the stone birdhouses and feeders 3 years ago, in fact, I have logged in over 2000 hours developing the products that you are viewing today. Some of my goals were to develop engineered backyard birding products that were real and functional and beautiful. From a hobby that is easy, affordable and peaceful, I wanted to eliminate the disappointment that is experienced all too frequently by inferior products. I wanted to make unique, cutting edge works of are available to everyone and I want to revolutionize the backyard birding industry.

I create thematic functional works of art with the intention of drawing you the viewer back to nature by focusing on mixed aspects of nature. Colour, texture, shape and even the wildlife that my works attract are all aspects of nature that do bring your attention back to nature where peace and even joy can be experienced. I incorporate solid, purposeful design and the highest standard of craftsmanship.
