Home	Samuel Bird was born about 1775 in Ardeelan Lower, County of Donegal, Ireland and died abt 1850 in Birdton, York County, New Brunswick (Parish of Douglas), Canada.  He married Letitia King, 2 June 1803, Drumholm Church of Ireland Parish, County Donegal, Ireland.  Letitia was born about 1775 at Argulyee, Kirlbaron, County of Donegal, Ireland and died 2 March 1869 in Birdton, York County, New Brunswick, Canada. Samuel and Letitia traveled to Canada with their five children in June 1824 and eventually settled in Birdton, York County, New Brunswick. Samuel's younger brother, James, his wife, Margaret nee: Patterson, and their 3 children also settled in this area.  James and his family arrived in Canada about 1819.
